Medicare Part B
Medical Insurance & Coverages
What is Medicare Part B?
Here’s what you need to know.
Medicare Part B is a significant part of the Medicare program that covers outpatient medical services and supplies. It includes coverage for doctor visits, preventive care, lab tests, outpatient surgeries, and durable medical equipment. And the best part? Medicare Part B is available to most individuals aged 65 and older, as well as certain individuals under 65 with disabilities who meet specific criteria.
Essentially, Part B provides coverage for a wide range of necessary medical services and supplies. It ensures access to healthcare providers, specialists, and necessary equipment for diagnosis, treatment, and management of various conditions. However, it does not cover prescription drugs (covered under Part D) or services like dental care, eyeglasses, and hearing aids.
For personalized assistance in understanding Medicare Part B and choosing the right healthcare coverage plan, our team at Choice City Health is here to help.
